Postdoctoral position in the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences and the Icahn Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology to lead our efforts to develop and apply computational methods to build better multiscale network models of disease, identify novel drug repurposing opportunities, and innovate at the nexus of systems pharmacology and precision medicine.

The postdoctoral scientist will work with clinicians and scientists within the Mount Sinai Health System, as well as other academic institutions within the United States and abroad. This position will also require collaboration with leading pharmaceutical companies to reposition drug compounds and develop and apply novel precision medicine methods in clinical trials. The research lead by this position will be integral to the efforts of our translational bioinformatics and systems immunology initiatives.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Design and implement research studies
• Collect and analyze high-dimensional data
• Prepare research results for publication
• Present at national and international meetings
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals

The focus of the research will be on the integration of multiscale molecular and clinical data towards building improved models of disease and drug response for precision medicine.

This position is mentored by Dr. Joel Dudley working under the broader institute leadership of Dr. Eric Schadt.
